Conference of Patriotic Nigerians (COPAN) Warns NANS President Against Targeting The President's Son Seyi Tinubu
The Conference of Patriotic Nigerians (COPAN) has warned the leader of Nigerian students, Comrade Atiku Abubakar Isah not to let politicians use him to target the Nigerian President's son, Seyi Tinubu.
The coordinator of the Conference of Patriotic Nigerians (COPAN), Barrister Uchenna Odieli, said some people are using Isah to damage Seyi Tinubu's name for their own political reasons. Odieli questioned why Isah is attacking Seyi Tinubu, calling him an "innocent man" just because he is the president's son.
Odieli said he knows Seyi Tinubu personally and described him as a humble and well-mannered lawyer. Odieli stated that Seyi Tinubu is not perfect but is also not a violent person or the "monster" some people are portraying him to be.
COPAN is worried about a trend of people attacking Seyi Tinubu to become popular. Odieli pointed out that many of these critics do not know Seyi Tinubu personally. He urged the public to be careful and avoid rushing to judgment against Seyi Tinubu. Odieli asked people to stop taking out their anger on Seyi Tinubu, saying violence is not his way.
